VoxMD (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates SNAds (the “Application”), a marketing research application that uses the Google Ads API to provide keyword research and related keyword planning information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Application accesses, how that information is used, how it is protected, and when it may be disclosed.
1. Information We Access
The Application uses Google’s OAuth 2.0 authorization process to obtain permission to access Google Ads data that the authorized user has permitted the Application to access.
The Application is designed primarily for keyword research and keyword planning. Depending on the permissions granted and the functionality being used, information accessed through the Google Ads API may include:
* Keyword ideas and keyword suggestions;
* Historical keyword metrics;
* Keyword search volume and related metrics;
* Keyword forecast information;
* Geographic targeting information used to generate keyword research;
* Language and other keyword-planning parameters;
* Google Ads account or customer identifiers necessary to make authorized API requests.
The Application does **not** request or require a user’s Google password. Authentication is handled through Google’s OAuth 2.0 authorization system.
2. How We Use Google Data
Google Ads data accessed through the Application is used solely to provide keyword research, keyword planning, and related marketing research functionality.
The Application may use Google Ads data to:
* Generate keyword ideas;
* Research search demand and keyword opportunities;
* Retrieve historical keyword metrics;
* Generate keyword forecasts;
* Organize and present keyword research results;
* Allow users to evaluate potential advertising keywords and geographic opportunities.
The Application does not use Google Ads data for purposes unrelated to the functionality described above.
3. Read-Only Access
The Application is designed for **read-only keyword research**.
The Application does not create, modify, pause, delete, or otherwise manage Google Ads campaigns, advertisements, ad groups, bids, budgets, or other advertising objects.
The Application’s purpose is to retrieve information from Google’s Keyword Planning services and present that information to the authorized user for research and planning purposes.
4. Google API Services
The Application’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with applicable Google API Services User Data Policy requirements, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
Google API Services User Data is used only to provide or improve the functionality of the Application described in this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell Google API Services User Data.
We do not use Google API Services User Data for advertising purposes unrelated to the Application’s functionality.
We do not use Google API Services User Data to determine a user’s eligibility for credit, insurance, housing, employment, or other high-impact decisions.
5. Storage of Information
We seek to minimize the amount of Google Ads information retained by the Application.
Where keyword research results are stored, they are retained only as reasonably necessary to provide the Application’s functionality, maintain research history, troubleshoot the service, or comply with legal obligations.
OAuth credentials and tokens, when stored, are protected using appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. OAuth tokens are not publicly disclosed or intentionally shared with unauthorized parties.
Google’s guidance requires OAuth credentials and tokens to be handled securely, including encryption of user tokens at rest and permanent deletion when they are no longer needed.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise commercially distribute Google Ads data obtained through the Application.
Google Ads information may be processed by service providers that support the operation of the Application, such as hosting, database, security, or infrastructure providers, solely as necessary to operate and maintain the Application.
Such service providers are expected to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality protections.
We may disclose information where required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, and property of VoxMD, our users, or others.
7. User Control and Revoking Access
Users may revoke the Application’s access to their Google Account through their Google Account security settings.
When a user revokes access, the Application will no longer be able to obtain new information through the revoked authorization.
Users may also contact us using the information below to request deletion of information associated with their use of the Application, subject to information that we are legally required or reasonably permitted to retain.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
These safeguards may include access controls, encrypted communications, secure credential storage, restricted administrative access, and monitoring of application infrastructure.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Third-Party Services
The Application uses Google APIs and services. Google’s handling of information is governed by Google’s own policies and terms.
Our use of Google Ads API services is also subject to Google’s applicable Google Ads API terms and policies.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to the Application, applicable law, or our data practices.
The updated Privacy Policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
